Banned... Because a streamer called the hoard apon me
This past weekend I went to the light house for the first time ever (so awesome btw) and I think around the second to last game it was my team versus a twitch streamer, some how we won and now that I am back on destiny I am banned from trials of osiris and crucible I can't even use the gear I just got. Its totally unfair that a someone has the power to ban who ever they want, also I hate to complain but why is there literally no support for destiny? I feel like if I could talk to someone that had the power to help they would totally understand what happened and would hopefully help me. Please comment below I would really like to read what you think about this.

4 RepliesHello Rayan. If you have received a message referencing a restriction or a ban, you will have temporarily or permanently lost access to specific activities within Destiny. If your message references a restriction, you will have [b]temporarily[/b] lost access to the specific in-game activity. If your message references a ban, you have [b]permanently[/b] lost access to that specific in-game activity. There are no options to dispute or overturn account restrictions or bans. [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/11929]You can read Bungie's full account restriction and banning policies here.[/url] In regards to [u]anyone[/u] reporting your account, action is never taken on the basis of just a report or report quantity. Reporting is the first step in the process, and no action is taken without it first being investigated fully by Bungie.

1 ReplyYou played with someone who was using DDOS to get the wins whether you realized it or not. You are guilty by association. You shared in the rewards for their cheating and now you get to share in the ban as well. Use it as a lesson learned. know who you play with.

1 ReplyFrom looking at your games and only 13played 3games had disconnects of other players. So to me it seems DDos has occurred and well its called guilt by association. Now 2 of them were back to back

Bans and restrictions come in waves Yesterday and Monday were when the latest waves went out. Hence all of the threads asking WTF BANNED So it could be for something from the last few weeks. Also there is restricted. And there is banned. You should have received a notice saying one or the other. Restricted is temporary while banned is permanent. Both would lock out access to trials gear.

I feel your pain. The last time I tried to report somebody for a huge amount of lag, Bungie told me I couldnt submit any video evidence. Its hilarious to see them commenting to see if you had any video evidence.

20 RepliesIf you are banned with your gear locked then that means that someone in your team was cheating. Perhaps you or a teammate was recorded jumping in connection on the streamer's which led to suspicions of lag switching.
