Well, they should be, otherwise the hunter helmet will be useless.

No it won't. You can wear the helmet AND pick a different artifact that does something completely different. If you use that artifact and that helm at the same time, then yea it will be pointless. Bungie has never stopped us before from choosing loadouts that don't make sense though. For example, I can wear my Peregrine Greaves on my Defender titan for absolutely no reason.

Yeah like I can wear knuckleheaf tafar and still use something with third eye. It's a bit redundant but allowed

I know I'm just pointing out that redundancy is already in there. I doubt they're going to go out of their way to avoid it

Yes but the redundancy is not the same because there is a high chance you won't be using a primary with third eye.
