Wait....so @dersheff is the jerk for defending a new guardian from a jerk, @oldsalty? Is this what our community's come to? It doesn't even matter that this old salty balls guy was joking, he didn't have to be derogatory or dogmatic to a new player. I feel like Bungie ninjas should ban people who do this kind of crap until an apology message has been sent from each party involved, like the parents of all these obviously jerkish people should have done whilst rearing these youth, then maybe they'd be appreciative of what they have, and not be sarcastic to strangers on the internet.

I didn't say anything about derchief? All I pretty much said in other threads here is that even when a player like old salty is sarcastic and all, a player shouldn't respond with "Go BLAAAAAM yourself" I reported this whole message cause it singles out Old Salty and proves to me that he is supremely BUTTHURT and can't stand a slap on the wrist. People are very sarcastic to me, but as soon as someone says "Go BLAM yourself" it's different.

I was mixing up @dersheff with the OP, my bad. I've gotta say though that @oldsalty literally told OP that if it had been face to face he would have beat him into the ground, now if @oldsalty's original words hurt OP's feelings, maybe a 'go blam yourself' was in order because he made OP emotional. What it boils down to is that words do hurt, isn't that how you put it? So @oldsalty's words were hurtful to a new player, and OP defended him, so @oldsalty replied to it (I'm assuming this part since the comments on the original post won't come up) and elicited an emotional response from OP. Hurtful words beget hurtful words. PS- @oldsalty sounds like he's from Jersey.

I read that earlier, but the replies to it are lost or locked. All I'm saying is, you were both wrong. You seem to have been the instigator though. I base that on your replies and your threat of physical violence (while I agree , it was hypothetical).

I realize that, and i was givin a ban warnig for my comment. However, i did not create some long winded post about how i didnt deserve it. Also i talked to the new guardian that i was commenting to and he is ok with what i said. He didnt take it personal. Also kinderguardian and go -blam!- yourself are miles apart as far as insults go..if someone would've responded with "shut up old you old fart" thats understandable.. go -blam!- yourself or kill yourself, these are not acceptable responses.
