Grenades that need work: Grenade Buffs

Arcbolt Grenade Spike Grenade Scatter Grenade Pulse Grenade Flashbang Grenade Flux Grenade Thermite Grenade Smoke Grenade (Snare) Arcbolt -Nerfed Damage -Nerfed range This grenade since year one has come down quiet a bit. The reduced damaged was very understandable. Now players can no longer be killed immediately after being hit by it. However, it now lacks the versatility to kill. With the range and damage decrease it has it become more difficult to use. In most circumstances a player should completely pass up on this grenade. Suggestions: -Increase range -Increase grenade delay
When dealing with a grenade that has a large radius, the best thing to do is increase the delay so the player being hit by it has a proper amount of time to react.
Spike Grenade -Difficult to throw -Ineffective radius This grenade was just buffed during the last April update. As a narrow one direction grenade, the spike grenade is something any player can quickly pass through. It's only good when a player is being hit by in the one exact direction its spraying in. It is highly situational, even when placed correctly. Suggestions: -Change the cone radius (To be similar to lightning grenade) I'm suggesting this because we already know how effective the lightning is. I'm not speaking from a damage perspective, but from effective it is at actually hitting a player within its range. The difference between the spike grenade and Lightning grenade being larger amount of damage over in spurts vs. smaller amounts of constant damage. Pulse Grenade -Slow to damage -Easy to avoid This grenade has never been great. It pulses 50 damage during each of it's intervals for a total of 200 damage. Meaning a player would have to get stand in it during the whole duration to be killed. This is not ideal. It is also not only easy to avoid, but the easy to predict; enough so to take the risk of running through it with no regards to damage. Suggestions -Double pulse speed -Reduce the damage to 28 This will make it more difficult to get through without taking damage. The effect that pulls players in will also be further utalized. Flashbang Grenade -Blinding radius short I don't think this grenade needs any buff in damage, i think it is lethal. The issue I have is in encounters, where a player was close enough to be blinded by it (Including when used on me), but they were not. As as a grenade that does one set amount of damage, in comparison to grenades such as incendiary that would burn a person within that radius, I feel the blinding effect should be slightly larger. Suggestions: -Increase blind radius Thermite Grenade -Easily avoidable -Irregulary inconsistent damage pattern Suggestions: -Increase the height in which this grenade is effective. This makes it harder for enemies to jump over without taking damage. Scatter Grenade -Slow -Easy to Escape -Small radius This grenade is almost unplayable without the exotic armor piece Nothing Manacles. I find that to be unacceptable. The problem being this is a single grenade that turns into several, in which allows most players hit by it to get away. Suggestions: -Increase the detonation speed
This would be how fast each of the grenades that break off actuall break out split, and explode
. Flux Grenade -Basic -Lower damage than other sticky-types This is a simple grenade. The only issue I have with it is that the other have actual effects. The Magnetic Grenade detonates twice, The Fusion Grenade can burn. These effects all take place whether the grenade sticks or not. The Flux Grenade has no additional skill I am aware of. Suggestions: -Once stuck immediately detonates. Or -Disorients those near by. Smoke Grenade (Snare) -Basic -Underwhelming I honestly don't see this as much of an option. It does less damage, and doesn't last long enough to activate on time, or at a time when you may actually need it to. Suggestions: -Increase the smoke radius -Lock down upgrade extends idle duration instead of spoke duration. Thank you.
