What's your favorite thing about Destiny?

When I first started playing Destiny back in early 2015, there was something about it that roped me in right off the bat and never truly let me go. Don't get me wrong, I've left the game for weeks at a time simply because I got burnt out on it or wanted to play other games, but I've always found myself drawn back to it for some reason. This last week, I completely fell back into it after months of playing games on PC. I've played 6 hours a day for the last 3 days, more than I've played any other game in my life. Noticing how addicted I've become for what I think is the third time, I decided to start searching for what draws me back to this game every time I leave. I figured out that for me, what I love about Destiny is how complete it feels. Not in terms of content, but in terms of theme and overall atmosphere. I love when games feel unique and distinct from other games, when the art style and characters and gameplay all tie together in a clean, tight knot that makes me vividly remember everything I did when I played. Bungie executed that beautifully with this game, and I notice it every time I play. Even with all of its shortcomings, Destiny is the best multiplayer experience I have ever had. I'm aware of its problems and I often have frustrations with the game (and Bungie), but I love it all the same and I will keep playing for years to come. Thank you Bungie. I have a tremendous number of great memories with this game, and that is what matters to me. What are your favorite parts of Destiny? Even just the tiny details that stuck out to you and made you keep playing?
