Why is it so easy for many men to dismiss others feelings?
Why is it so easy for so many men to just ignore their conscious and put people out of sight and out of mind? Is that how men's brains really work? Not saying all do this but many do.
I know females do this as well but the audience here is mainly male so I'd like your insight.

I dont know what men you are talking about, but i will take a bullet for any average person that hasnt hurt anyone baddly. this can be family a random guy on the street or a guy i have known for many years. im all about others over me. i will be sad and take the bad side if someone wants the good side and make them happy All i think about is protecting people which is why i want to go into meteorology and work for the NWS to issue warnings

Especially about work. Jenny's a bitch and Carly's a whore and you do more work than anyone but no one notices. And if we do usually have any input it's wrong and we just don't understand. That's why we nod in agreement and don't say anything. If you're talking about not caring about someone else's feelings it's because were brought up not to care about our own feelings.

6 RepliesOk. Here's the deal. Men don't think with feelings. Men think with "boxes" we have a box for cars, our women, what we like, what we don't like, etc. Everything the box holds is our experience with it. We don't have a box for your feelings, especially if we have not had adequate experience with the person. Once we have a box for that person, then we can care about their feelings. But if that person is a stranger, and are not causing any kind of effect on our lives, we don't care because we have no box to access. Peace out, Dr. Chillyhands.
