I am not Warlock biased, but only Hunters and Titans are capable of inflicting the three elemental status effects:
Arc: Blind, Invisibility
Hunters: Stalker
Titans: Flash Grenade
Warlocks: Storm Trance(Land Fall)
Solar: Burn [DoT]
Hunters: Throwing Knife, Incendiary Grenade
Titans: Sunstrike, Incendiary Grennade, Hammer of Sol(Sunspots)
Warlocks: Scorch, Grenades(Viking Funeral), Radiance
Void: Suppression

Hunters: Shadow Shot(Teather)
Titans: Supresion Grenade
Warlocks: None
Now that we see the problem, i would also like to point out to you that Voidwalkers need a suppression aspect to there melee not only to compete with other guardian classes, but to compete with other warlock subclasses as well:
it is obvious that Energy Drain is out matched against the almighty fire born Scorch Shield combo or even Thunder Strike with feedback
PROVE THEM WRONG!
lets see whos faster ; is it the Self Resurrecting Sunsinger with scorch, or is it the Void Walker with an Energy Drain charge standing next to him...
Lord Shaxx once told me "Skill is its own weapon" so why dosn't wielding your instinctive reflexes reflect on that
So this is why i call upon the BUNGIE gods to do there work, because although i understand that you cant make the Energy Drain siphon passively suppress due to the Embrace the Void perk, but im sure you will be able to incorporate it as a nod to your choosing if you decide to do so, i would suggest ideally replace the surge effect with it and maybe, just maybe you might be able to restore the honor to this dying breed

Warlocks void nades regen on a super kill melee hit not a kill a hit and on a nade kill they're fine
