First off, for anyone who doesn't know what Weapon Sway is: Weapon Sway is your weapon's, and just as importantly, your reticle's movement when aiming down sights while walking or strafing.
Now that everyone knows what I am talking about, I personally think that Weapon/Reticle Sway May be a, if not the, contributing factor to Hand Cannon Phantom Bullets. I have no data on this because I don't know of any way (if there even currently is a way) to reduce weapon/reticle sway when aiming down sights. If anyone has a way of researching this, please post your findings.
Anyway, I think it may be something as simple as the bullet path being static to the weapon while the reticle/sights move.
I just thought that this may be something you want to look into, Bungie.
One last thing I want to say, Omolon Hand Cannon ADS sway is horrible. It's so bad that I can't hit the broad side of a barn when it's right in front of me. (Just my opinion people, no need to get ornery.)
In all seriousness though, any other Hand Cannon feels like it has half the sway.

2 RepliesWith out going into a long explanation, phantom bullet are usually the result of firing to fast with the hand canon. The faster you fire the larger the accuracy drop off. With hand canons you need to let the weapon come to a rest then fire again.
