Suddenly you decide to get off your Xbox/PS4/WiiU/PC/other and go take a walk. As you're walking, you suddenly hear a voice behind you, saying "excuse me". The weird thing is.. You know this voice.. You've heard it before. Yes.. It's-! Up to you. Hello, general populace of the Gaming subforum! This is Aifos, coming to you a-live, from the soon-to-be-former... Um.. Fictional location! Anyways, you just made a new friend! But this friend is special, because they're a fictional character from a video game! But as always, got some rules for you! "You have far too much fun with these things.." [b][u]"Tl;dr?" This is my point![/u][/b] You just became best friends with a video game character, who? Rules: 1. No using this friend for political/economical/etc. gain. 2. You will [u]not ever[/u] have any sort of romantic relation. When I say friend, I mean just that. 3. They have all their logic defying powers 4. Even if it's completely out of character, they're, like, so your bff. 5. Your life forces are tied. You die, so do they. They die, so do you. 6. They appear irl, not their world. 7. Neither of you are immune to the law. 8. They cannot grant you powers. 9. No sexual interaction [u]at all[/u]. My answer: [spoiler]This one's a bit difficult for me. Never been too social, and a lot of good video game characters would be terrible to know irl. But, after thought, my answer became clear. Pearl, from SU:AotL. For one, I already know Pearl really well, since I've watched the entirety of Steven Universe thus far. And she could also teach me swordplay, and help me clean up. That, and I'm sure she'd be a good friend in genera. Supportive, kind, loyal, protective, germaphobic. Plus we could sing! It'd be so great to have someone to sing with. ^-^[/spoiler][spoiler]hm.. [spoiler]As a secondary answer, and after some thought, I might go with Aeon, from Skullgirls. She seems rather emotionless (or at the least monotone) from the brief moments we've seen her, but is into video games (at the very least fighting games, which is good enough for me) and she's a goddess of time! Having someone to play games with would be nice, especially since her main genre isn't FPS. I really want to play some fighting games right now, but my friend & brother just want to play their FPS games, and I don't want to go online, as I'll either get completely destroyed, or I'll unbeknownst to myself be really cheap. Plus, having a goddess of time as your friend would definitely be nice. Accidentally sleep in? "Hey Aeon, could you go back in time, and wake me up?" (plus her body is literally an hourglass, and that's pretty cool) Of course, she's only been in two cutscenes the entire game, so unless they make a Skullgirls 2 (pleeeeeeeeease) with her (AND ANNIE) as playable characters, I couldn't say for sure whether it'd actually be nice to have her as a friend. ^-^'[/spoiler]
