SCAM ALERT:*** "Dawn of Destiny and Bungie Heart Emblems up for grabs. Message me." ***
Don't fall for it fellow gaurdians!
So, after seeing this as a reply under numerous posts today, I decided to find out if it was legit or not.
I paid this guy with a measly $10 xbox live digital code, and have yet to recieve my emblem. Which I knew I wouldnt. Since he redem ed the code and yet to give me mine, I asked him if it was good hustle, and he really got me. After that he finally responded saying it's not a hustle he just got busy and that he was scratching off the code for my emblem right then.
Haven't heard from him since. Which I knew I wouldnt. I was suprised he responded back at all. But let this be a lesson to anyone thinking of buying an emblem from anybody on here.
I knew it was fake but just wanted to expose this to the people on this forum which I'm very much an active member of. I take offense when people come in here and try to pull these scams.
Pm me if you want to know more about this individual.
Edit: Finally got a response telling me he wasn't home, and that he's from Australia and the Xbox code didn't work, and blah, blah, blah.

He pm me and said he's selling an emblem for a measly 100$. You can kiss my but, me spending a 100$ on an emblem. If I want an emblem for 100$, I better be getting something else. Plus if I would spend that much, I would pay through PayPal and not PSN/Microsoft cards.

6 RepliesI think it's funny how these "beware the scammers!" Posts come out every so often. Every time the OP says something like "oh I only did it to prove to you guys he was scamming!" Like some attempt to save face, I guess. Everyone is aware these scams exist. There have been numerous posts on subjects just like this. You aren't some knight in shining armor, you're just another scammed "victim" trying to get sympathy and seem like a forum hero. It's a lot like that trending thread about "leaked images of the rise of iron dlc" weeks after the official reveals and bungie twitch streams on the rise of iron. You're beating a dead horse that you painted like a zebra to try to make it original.
