Make exotics drop in PvP and PvE strikes again like in Y1.
Please the loot system in Y1 was so much better then Y2. Remove 3oC and have exotics drop in strikes and pvp games.

5 RepliesHonestly... who the hell gives two shits about exotics anymore? Their only useful for infusion for the gg rolled legendary gear anyway. Bungie has made every single exotic (except Truth and black spindle) a total waste of space in this game. I've honesty deconstructed all of mine save a handful that I use for fun. I don't use exotics in pvp or pve (save for black spindle for pve raids, and truth for pvp). All the other "Exotics" are trash at best and nothing special. Bungie ruined Exotics when they "balanced" them to not have a damage advantage over legendary gear. Also if your not max lvl by now then you really suck at this game.

Whats the point of having 3oC If Bungie keeps on nerfing them? They are really useless. And for all ppl saying "play pvp" i don't really like ppl a lot.

1 ReplyExotics dropped in Year 1? Honestly, this is a step up from Y1. Less grinding, more rewards, idk how you liked searching hours and hours at a time for a certain exotic. Sorry if you weren't, but I get the impression you were one of those people who bought a shitload of 3oC's, then used the old Draksis farm method, and got most, if not all the exotics in a few days.(someone said that down below)

I agree, I also think there should be guaranteed drops for the rare times that you get a medal like Mark of the Unbroken, Phantom, 7th Column etc. Would make it actually feel like you did something great and were rewarded for it. Shaxx's enthusiasm isn't enough lol

Even with the coins it still rng, a buddy of mine couldn't get a meta multi tool since ttk released until xur sold it a few weeks back, also this friend of mine uses hundred or so coins a week trying to get the gun. So hell no to your suggestion, yr1 way was NOT better sry

Removing 3oC would be toxic...once we have it you can't take it away. Personally, I don't think it was better in Y1. However, I think they should improve the drops in PvP to more like Y1 (except exotics). I remember Iron Banner giving a lot of Passage Coins and more PvP drop specific weapons (ex. Party Crasher +1).

you must have amnesia. The loot system in Y1 was not better at all. Equally as bemusing as those who post about Nightfalls in Y1 being more rewarding. These forums were clogged with complaints how Nightfall was only worth doing for the XP boost. I am pretty sure Bungie had to patch Nightfalls at one point last year because the drops were so bad. TOC are a much better idea.
