People are already complaining because they can't find 6 people to do Iron Banner or a raid. Why would anyone actually use 6 man patrols? I haven't seen anymore than a 2 man patrol since early TTK, and that was only on the Dreadnought for CoO.

Sometimes you have more than three people playing together, but less than six. I often have three or four more friends playing together with me at the same time. All we can do is Raids, Social Spaces and Crucible together. I'd like to be able to grind Court of Oryx or hunt secrets in the Dreadnaught, race each other in Sparrows on Patrol, or grind Warsat missions or whatever. Remember, just because an additional feature doesn't affect you personally, doesn't mean it won't have meaning for someone else. There's never a good reason not to add optional features and usability.

Hide and Go Seek :D

True......honestly, if you have 6 people why would you want to do Patrols?
-
Exactly. Patrol in itself is pretty pointless to do solo or with up to 3. But with 6, you could do a raid, or regular crucible, or banner. There is no point in 6 people on patrol :/ #TitanMasterRace

Community building and allowing more friends to play together. Also because we want it and the tech to allow it is already there.
-
Friends don't play together on patrol unless they are forced to for a bounty or quest :P having a 6 man patrol is entirely too unnessacary. Maybe add that gesture in when patrols actually become relevant. #TitanMasterRace

Then what's the point of having fireteams in patrol then? Let's make patrols solo only!! That seriously was a slippery slope argument.
-
I'm ok with patrols being solo only too. It's not like anybody goes onto patrol if they aren't solo, unless they are doing CoO. And even then, most people can solo all CoO bosses at this point, so it's unnecessary. #TitanMasterRace

Well that's your thing. Let those who want larger fireteams have them since, as said before, the tech to do it is already there.
