Has anyone noticed on TrialsReport
Has anyone noticed on Destiny Trials Report the advertisements for Paid Trials Sherpas?

To me it's pretty disturbing , a game I play to kick back and relax/ interact with my friends and we have to compete against paid professionals who are bent on smashing us as quickly as possible to get paid.
We don't get to strategize or sweat out a long sniper round, they just come flying in with double grenades, wombo combo, universal remotes and obliterate us.
That's not fun. Just ranting

There is nothing wrong for paying someone for help- I have done paid carries as well as free carries and there is nothing wrong with them. If someone wants to pay me money to take them flawless it is their choice and I will take their money and guarantee them a trip to the lighthouse. However though it really isn't that difficult to get a free carry- paying usually just gives people priority and a guarantee they will get there.

I'd personally save it and try to do the feat myself in an honest fashion, but others could and would spend it on ways that I don't fancy.

2 RepliesThet need to get rid of boons since bungie quit giving out as many passage coins. You buy a trials card and you need 9 wins before 3 losses to go to lighthouse. This will make it fun again and still challenging for some. Maybe this will cut down on all the people paying to win. Maybe people would actually try to do it themselves and improve their game skill. The first 10 games I played Monday 8 of them had 1 to 2 2.1+ kd on the other team with a negative kd player. I have been flawless over 120 times and I don't mind it being a little easier to make it more fun. At least some people pay and participate to help earn their lighthouse. This account recovery stuff is what needs to stop. People who do this in my opinion are scummy and it hurts the game. If your good at least play on your own account and make the carry play with you so they can at least kind of earn flawless.

If you go flawless that week with that character they can only play off that same card against others for scarab emblem. Why have them reset at that point to crush others is beyond me. ---------- EDIT: Since this post is doing so well for a hub on those that are either thinking of fair ways to balance ToO or those who are seeing this as a "cry" post, let me clarify. I do not want things to be easier, I have a problem with others being carried. In competitive game modes you're supposed to be your own skilled hand, not let others sit back and gankspank. My problem is with unskilled people going flawless while those actually trying are being shut down by over the top elitist carrying those who won't even try on their own. Can we add some competition to a game mode advertised to be competitive.

2 RepliesI don't blame the ones charging. I blame the ones paying. If you can make money off of playing a game you love or video games in general, then knock yourself out. I just won't be paying for something that I myself can work at and get for free without a carry.

It's stupid as shit that anybody would pay someone to help with this game. There are so many people that help you with shit like iron banner and kings fall for free on lfg. If you need a team, it's not hard to find one, you don't have to pay -blam!-ing 200$ for it. Trials carries, I'm not too worried about. I don't think people should pay for it, but idrc about people carrying others. Mainly cause I'm already bad at pvp so it's just a little more annoying if I wanna play, but there's not much difference.
