Share Your Worst RNG Story
I have opened 70 crucible packages and none of them had a longbow. Just 6 guns I instantly dismantled.

I did vault of glass 3 times back in year 1. I got the same rewards every single time Sniper. Rocket. Scout. Every damn time.

1 ReplyI know it was a bug, but technically it can happen(except the rep, you always get that). In IB, no one got a single thing. Next match, everyone gets a legendary, except for two. One got 2 motes, the other got...3. [spoiler]immediately dismantled Weyloran's March. [/spoiler]

1 ReplyDecember-house of wolves never got gjallarhorn, ran 6 raids and 3 solo nightfalls religiously for chance. House of wolves comes and i talk a friend into playing destiny. Take him level 27 through VOG hard and have him die at beginning so he doesnt get pulled in for oracles (yes vog used to be a pain in the butt and easy to wipe over and over) he got a ghorn and vex in a single drop. I had to buy mine 3 weeks before it got nerfed to puppy pack rpunds

The next week, Full Auto with max stability comes out. So now, I'm still waiting... Also, I'm pretty sure that I will never get The Last Word. Xur is my only hope

I get the longbow, ldr.....all the 'new' old weapons. That's cool I guess, but I don't use much of em. I'm mad that I can't get any of the damn armor I've been needing! And when I FINALLY get a piece of armor its nothing remotely what I need. Smh

My first time soloing a nightfall. I think it was archon priest rainbow burn. I only had one character - a hunter. A buddy of mine logged on as I was near the archon. I asked him if he wanted to join in for the kill. He said sure. I got the priest down to 1 or 2 shots and then waited for him. He joined in, we killed the priest, and he got ghorn. I got a warlock helmet. This was before exotic shards, but it was worthless to my hunter so I broke it down. In fairness it was also before the ghorn became the legend it is today.

I put close to 80 hours into iron banner and received mostly ghost shells. I wanted the sniper with firefly. Every one of the people I played with got the roll I wanted. Not one of them wanted firefly. I have the same weapon drop rate as you from packages. I always say, I'm going to get my armor piece from Shaxx. Becoming very disappointed. I've decided to play less. If only we could roll one of the perks.

1 Reply75 hard crota completions before gettin the crux... the grind was real. 69 completions on current characters and a few on a deleted warlock, in case any forum fact checkers wanna hate, haha.

Destiny launched. Been playing for 3 months trying to get Gjally. Buys husband an Xbox and Destiny. Gears him up. Runs him through hard mode VoG. He gets Gjally from the exotic chest. Fml.

Passed on buying gally first time it was sold- never got the gun to drop despite playing from day one lol. I had to buy it from him one week before the nerf. I had friends that played one day and got it. This taught me all I needed to know about destiny. I guess I'm a sucker for punishment because I'm still here. Got every exotic gun in the game and both moments of triumph. Don't have max grimore but who cares . Still loves this -blam!-ed up game lmao

20+ packages only 1 longbow 200+ 3oc helmet engrams 0 glasshouse/0 AD feedback. Had to buy legacy engrams for both

Rank 5 IB on all 3 characters 10+ gauntlets and 1 primary drop Last IB rank 5 on all 3 characters 1 primary weapon drop and again 10+ armor drops. (I did get quite a few heavy weapon drops though)
