Alienating their fan base and sending readers to DC.

I am a minority and I agree with this. Just like how they killed the ghost busters. We need to stop trying to appease political correctness!
-
They missed a perfect opportunity with the new Iron Man. How could they have passed up the name Iron Maiden? HOW????
Unless there's already a superhero by that name which is very likely.
-
Marvel has a bunch of minority heroes already, they just have to start focusing on them more instead of leaving them as B rated or C rated characters.
-
You realize there's a comic series from Marvel where Iron Man was a black woman correct? I don't read comics. I knew it was a comic. Come on now. If it's a good story, why do you care so much? Are you so insecure?
-
Why can't current superheros be minorities?
-
*puts on an antic disposition* Still waiting for Northstar to get a movie so they can have an openly gay superhero. But they'll probably just make some other hero gay that isn't supposed to be instead.
-
All super heroes are minorities. There's only a handful of them compared to the rest of the global population.

It's not just marvel...
Hermione is black
After the black female Ironman and Chinese Superman controversy, I wonder if we'll finally get an albino gender fluid Black Panther.

Edited by gethyn007: 7/26/2016 1:48:25 PMAlienating their fan base, that's what. Just take a look at the top selling comic book titles lol DC is looking better and better all the time. But that's how it works, that's how we do it, right? They make stuff we don't want, and we don't buy it. The end.

Did you know in next season of agents of shield ghost rider will appear! And he'll be played by a Latino.
TRIGGERED!!!
-
Marvel is owned by Disney Disney believes in gays and supports the LGBT and SJW's. Point made
-
I can now see why Alan Moore despises American Superhero movies and comics. Next thing you know WB will do a new spin on Watchmen with Silk Spectre being a transgender, and whatever sick, twisted fantasy theu can come up with.
-
The real question is why you have a problem with it.

2 sentences isn't a rant
-
It's 2016, man. Don't you realize that people will murder you in your sleep if your movie doesn't have a strong, independent, leading, female and black guy in it?

Edited by dadwithapad: 7/25/2016 6:45:18 PMWho cares if it leads to good stories? If.

Marvel does what Marvel does to virtue signal and attack whites

What happened?

Why do we use umbrellas in modern society?

In response to the new Iron Man being an African American woman, I'm pretty happy that we're having some representatives in pop culture. Although, I don't want them to replace the current ones in a weird-ass timewarp where the current characters are obsolete, I would like to see it fit into the storyline of these comics somehow. I'm black and I don't care that the majority of heroes are white, it doesn't bother me. But I'm a huge fan of Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, so I may be a bit biased when I say that if they fuck with the original comics it's gonna be a shitstorm.

Edited by joibasta: 7/25/2016 5:57:26 AMWell Marvel is good at copying DC and making bad decisions.
