Unfortunately Bungie does not support account transfers.
Transfer of items or characters between platform accounts
https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12211 If your PlayStation account has been banned you will have to start over on a new account and this includes purchasing All digital content.

I created "ballsonchin" for my brother on Xbox years ago, and he got banned about a year later. He came to me once again for help and now roams Xbox once again as Swordstroker. I'm a good big brother.
-
That's what you get for having an immature tag, what're you, 12?
-
All comes down to thinking BEFORE acting. Just because the Internet give some form of anonymity, doesn't make you immune from any repercussions.
-
Dude you ask for it with your name , your own choice so dont complain.
-
Psn should allow you to change your username so you can keep all your dlc etc its stupid that they dont allow you to change it this is coming from someone with a ps4
-
I've been banned twice permanently. Feels terrible that you have to start over. You shouldn't lose your DLC or anything bought from the store though.
-
Yeah you might of pissed off some people and the only way to get you back was to complain to bungie that your user tag is offensive. Big load of crap if you ask me and sorry to hear that happened to you mate.

As simply as possible, Sony get to set their own rules, by their own metric your username broke those rules. You had the username for a longtime, unfortunately someone reported your name, for whatever reason. Sony then enforced their rules, using their own metric. In parts of the world, spank your nanny, nanny spanking or slap your nanny is a euphemism for ownanism. Were you aware of that? Doesn't matter Sony are. If you were aware of it, you tried to be cute, got away with it for a bit, then got caught. If you weren't, unlucky, sony are aware of it and you're paying the price.

Good luck buddy. The banning a warning system is so backwards. I have numerous warning emails after receiving abuse messages from salty players. I send back a simple fück off and get warnings lol.

Welcome to the negatives of playstation
-
That is the only reason why PS sucks.
-
That's why I switched to X1.. Sony online services are ancient imo..
-
Another reason why Microsoft is much better. If you have an inappropriate name on Xbox Live they make you change your name that is all.

Got my PSN ID banned. My old tag was P1SS1NAT0R. Had that tag for almost two years and then one day I was unable to log into PSN. Called Sony and I was told I could change my PSN ID and keep all of my purchases. However, Bungie uses the PSN ID to determine who you are and would consider my new PSN ID as, well, new. That meant starting from zero. Sony told me that I would have to write a letter and snail mail it to their appeals department where they would review my request to reinstate my PSN ID. I cried, yelled, and basically had a mental break down. Next day I started a new account and within a month had all the things I wanted back. Seemed easier the second time around. HoW came out and all my old stuff became useless. With the new dlc coming out in September it'll be easy for you to catch up. Basically, we'll all be starting over somewhat.

Your gamertag was...

I've heard they allow you to change it once. That really sucks.

Edited by Xenomorph: 7/23/2016 3:42:04 AMAs an Xbox player I'm really sorry to see this. I have nothing against PS or Sony, I just prefer Xbox. But this is definitely a shortcoming in regards to PS. You shouldn't lose everything just because someone somewhere disliked your GT. Xbox changes it to a random GT at least, and you can pay for a new one if you want without losing your games. I'd say just keep respectfully asking anyone who can help you at PS support to allow you to change it to keep your game saves... Also, try posting in the help section here on b.net... can't hurt. I hope you get it sorted Guardian!

That isn't even that bad. I knew a guy named clubbymcfister & another named aquarianhomo who both were able to change their names. Psn really needs to fix that.
-
And ps will do nothing to reinstate. They state that they fully investigate reports and bans are final. Who in the world would find dannyspanksnanny offensive. This is a big PsN flaw. They should give the opportunity to change the name before ripping all of your purchases.

One more reason I don't pay for downloading games.

Does anyone know if it's possible for burgie to do the man a solid and transfer his stuff? I love the game and I'm going to buy rise of iron but if my account was banned and i had to rebuy all the DLC I wouldn't rebuy it and quit. I think for the sake of keeping customers they should have a system to help with these issues. More of a pat on the back for us users, but it keeps us around. Please help this man bungie

That is buuuuuuuuuuuuullshit of the first order. I know i've seen some "racy" usernames, plenty of em. You must've pissed someone off and they just reported you a bunch? That's my best guess dude. That really sucks though. Sorry I can't offer any advice, only sympathize for you
