As much as I don't want it to be true pulse rifles dominate, they are versatile, and deadly at basically every range you will see on any map in current rotation.
With a skilled hand they outclass autos at auto rifle range, they can outclassed scouts and they are king of mid range by a wide margin.
They also take very little skill to use and are the only reliable counter for sniper rifles.
Weapon Balance is a joke in the crucible.

apparently my post is being misunderstood.
My main point is that a good pulse like grasp or hawksaw is by far the most versatile weapon in the game.
A skilled user will easily outgun autos within their range, and compete with scouts at their range,
And even a thumbless potato can dominate in the pulses intended range if they have a great roll.
Yes some weapons can kill slightly faster, but with basically every weapon you guys have mentioned one mistake and you are done, and that isn't the case with pulses.
Also, side note to everybody saying hand cannons in 3s. Maybe in sweats, but not in pub 3s, look at trials. You can't go one match without atleast seeing 1 vendor hawksaw or God roll grasp.

Honestly I think everything is pretty balanced right now except maybe some hand cannons that 2 tap to the head gaurunteed but that's not arch type that's the perks
