- Comparing Year 1 weapons with now, it's just sad. - Raiding was actually fun in year 1. - VERY few things were nerfed in year 1. I think that's what make Exotics competitive. - It seems that year 1 was just so much better. Now it seems so sad. The Exotic weapons feel 'blah' and they used to be 'AMAZING'; now there's really no point in using an Exotic. - Exotics in year 1 had something cool, but something bad to balance the weapon itself. Now, the best Exotics are those that have no real drawbacks. - The raids in year 1 (excluding the cheese) were so fun. Compared to TTK, there a bit more in TTK; but it's like the heart wasn't in it. - The only thing I can say is somewhat consistent, is the Lore. It's still pretty cool. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ What do you think? Does Destiny leave you feeling unsatisfied now?

 • Year 1 had its issues as well. The HORRIBLE RNG drop rate, Cryptarch decoding Purples and Yellows into Greens or Whites. Lack of Matchmaking (Still ongoing.) Nightfalls & some quests felt like a chore. Bounties felt like a chore. Strike bosses felt like a chore. To give players challenge many enemies were giant bullet sponges with Machine Gun Rocket Launchers tied to both hands, feet, back, head, that shot in all directions and had splash damage that also spawned adds. But the Weapons were awesome, every gun had its quirks and they felt unique. Exotics felt unusual and made the "Exotic" Distinction fit. Now the game is overall better yet worse. - Loot is a joy. Getting loot, infusing your favorite items, having a look you desire, a weapon you love staying strong. - Armsday is just awesome. - Boss Fights are more inventive and feel like boss fights. - The Storyline was enjoyable. Not AAA but compared to year 1's storyline...its S-Class. (When you're at Rock Bottom even the mediocre is great.) - Weapons are fun. Shame that Exotics feel more like a Bane than a Boon. Exotic Armor however is still awesome. - Factions and Mark Systems are significantly improved and enjoyable. - In some ways PVP is not shoved down our throats as much as it was in Year 1. In others its even worse In my opinion... Year 2 is the year that was shaped by Player feedback both for the better and worse. We got some long awaited changes. However...PVP gripes and Bungie's OCD like tendency to want to control how a player does ___ content, has created a situation where Weapons are in a questionable place. To try and balance PVP (which in every game has specific loadouts and optimal setups) they have hurt many items, classes, and gameplay aspects. They just need to makeneverything work 1 way in pve and another way in pvp. But like matchmaking...its unlikely. I hope yr 3 brings in more player feedback, ship missions/gameplay, kiosks for legendaries weapons & armor acquired (for those with deep vaults), and some more Armsday vendors. The vendors are a rip of Borderlands but so is most of Destiny. But if it works/is fun. Keep going.
