Thanks for the heads up. Sounds like Genicap might be trying to patent troll, like the lawsuit against Adam Carolla (and podcasting in general) that was thrown out. People see an opportunity to make a buck and they jump on it, theyre in Business for a reason, to raise their stock value, and if they win, they will receive ASSLOADS of cash from this forever, basically guaranteeing their companies survival. Trust me They've talked to lawyers, they know what theyre doing. Either way I dont think the release will be affected, if anything they may have to pay a royalty or "lease" the patented algorithm.
