Iron banner R3 and R5 rewards
Anyone else think that the rank 3 package for iron banner should give a better reward than a rare 320 item? I'm also tired of getting an artifact from 2/3 of my rank 5 packages. I think that the Rank 3 package should give a high light armor piece or artifact and the rank 5 should give a high light weapon.

Packages are junk now with drops being so frequent between rounds. Why bother adjusting them? There is no reason to even get to rank 5 unless it's just a personal goal.

1 ReplyI got two pairs of gloves and one pair of boots for my three rank five packages. I also got a ton of boots and gloves for after match drops. Only two snipers with absolutely terrible perks. People complained when the Rank 3 Package gave a 310 Light Relic and the maximum light level was 320, e.g., the Relic was 10-light below the maximum. Bungie "LISTENED" to this player feedback and when they raised the light level to 335, they raised the Relic to 320, e.g., made the Relic 15-light below the maximum. The funny thing is, Bungie thinks they responded to player feedback and made a positive change, when all they really did was make the Rank 3 Relic even more worthless than used to be the case...

Rank 3 sucks..... My rank 5 was a MG @ 334 and ghost at 320. This was my first trip in to IB, and put side of the rank 3 crap it was grat gun wise. I got the pulse at 335 with counter balance, braced frame. Perfect balance, and third eye... Over all this first trip was awsome.. The pulse is on my main lock.

Rank 5 gave me some gloves.... I'd already gotten about 6 pairs from drops at the reward screen let alone being able to buy them at rank 3. So dissapointing and not worth the grind to rank 5 at all.

2 RepliesYeah they really need to make the IB artifact a legendary so we could at least infuse a higher light into it and I got garbage for my rank 5 this week I'm a 335 light and I got a 320 ghost and a 334 helmet straight garbage

The rank 3 package should give out something better than a 320 artifact. But when it comes to rank 5 packages, I tend to have good RNG with them. Rank 5 is the only reason why I put up with the Iron Banner and its shenanigans. Today I got a Deidris's Retort with Full Auto, Rifled Barrel, and Replenish. My search for the perfect shotgun is over.

I literally just received my Rank 3 package from that dickhole and all I got was a rare 320 light artifact... I was devastated. all that sweatiness and head ache I got from playing control.

Ranking up is useless now. It be nice for the ghost and artifact to be base 320, but close to you current light if above that. Getting 335 artifacts is a PITA.

2 RepliesSo yeah, the Rank 3 does suck. I got 2 of my toons to Rank 5 and what do I get??? 2 335 Nirwens with absolutely garbage rolls, don't even come close to the vendor roll. 1 Nirwens okay, but 2?? Gonna do my Hunter today, and pray that RNG doesn't give me another Nirwens

1 ReplyAt least the reward system ain't as bad as nightfalls. Year 1 nightfalls used to be an event I made sure I completed every week because the rewards were top notch. Now I don't bother..... M not wasting my time for a 330 ghost shell or a 330 mark/cloak/bond.

I got a nerwins mercy with perfect balance and counter balance (after game reward). Its still fires once per hour. Im done with destiny until MAYBE september

they need to be adjusted, I didn't bother with rank 5 last time and haven't bother with anything above rank 1 this time. on top of terrible package rewards, drop rates still suck.
