Mind explaining why it was such a big deal? You can just evolve an eevee into it. Would the CP be higher catching one instead of evolving? Or was it just the rarity of the spawn that got people running for it?

I think its rare in that area? Not everyone can easily find evee.

Ah makes sense. Eevee tends to be somewhat common in my area.
