Ever since Bungie nerfed auto rifles in patch 1.0 high impact autos have been trash. Their time to kill is just too slow. I'm getting outgunned by High Rate of fire pulse rifles and hand cannons white frequently. It's sad that my once feared Shadow Price, can barely win a gunfight.
I recommend that Bungie should increase the damage on high impact auto rifles by 2. (From 26 headshot damage to 28) and increase the range by at least 5%. This should allow High Impact Auto Rifles to compete with faster firing weapons.

My main Autos are Monte Carlo and Suros Regime...Monte Carlo obviously the faster RoF...both suggested to be mid RoF but they work for me...I've actually kept use of my Answering Chord which is also quite affective as well as Antipodal Hindsight...which are a good option if I'm rocking a exotic secondary.... Monte Carlos range is pretty good and can usually pick up some long range kills due to higher stability roll even though is lower impact than all the others mentioned...

It's been suggested in the past... hopefully Bungie listens. I hate it when an entire weapon archetype is clearly weaker and subpar compared to others.

3 RepliesI can't think of one legend auto rifle that is any good. Most of them are really really slow, the ones who have a fast rate of fire have zero impact. even the zalo supercell has a slow reload and slow rate of fire. Monte Carlo sh,t impact fast rate of fire. to suro regime, low rate of fire, low magazine stock.

I remember when shadow price used to be awesome. It was my first legendary primary and worked great in pvp and pve. Those were the good old days.
