Along with new Pokémon being revealed, there will be a new mechanic called Hyper Training, which will allow you to increase the IVs of a lv 100 Pokémon. This could be a game changer for the competitive scene.

I always thought people cared about pokemon way too much. People spend hours and hours breeding and training each pokemon just to make each one absolutely perfect. I just catch whatever I think its cool and have it level up as I progress.
-
Too bad the Pokemon look like something out of a Nintendo fever dream
-
I haven't played Pokemon since OG blue, red and yellow but I'm thinking about getting sun or moon. Some of the new Pokemon designs are ridiculous but some are also really cool
-
So you can actually get a perfect Pokemon with a bit less effort. I'm not complaining at all
-
You mean Pokemon Praise the Sun and Pokemon "It's High Moon"?

Edited by Seanonix: 7/20/2016 3:11:24 PMAlways been way too lazy to do silly iv training, won't change
-
I like it. I never cared about EVs and IVs so it's good.
-
I never bothered with IVs growing up and did okay against others lol. Did use them in my X game though, I won't say the difference isn't noticeable. Mega Gardevoire IV'd for special attack can hit damn near 500 special attack stat. Like.. bruh. You can one shot anything with a Gardevoire like that.

>Eww Polygon. Delete this link. >This is an improvement that shouldn't have had to be made in the first place. Introducing the concept of IVs to begin with was the worst thing since Stealth Rocks.

Just need them to announce stealth rocks doesnt work on rock/ground/steel and maybe a pokemon or two with abilities to prevent hazards like them and Im good lmao
-
And there's me just in it to collect everything then go hunting for super rare ones with pretty colours :|
-
Not a game changer. People that play comp. just bred for flawless ivs before.
