ELEMENTAL PRIMARIES
Bungie said they removed them so we could have a more diverse range and armory. Now when a burn nightfall with match game comes around, I'm completely -blam!-ed unless its arc burn and I have Zhalo. PLEASE BRING BACK ELEMENTAL PRIMARIES IN RoI. I WILL KILL FOR THEM

1 ReplyEdited by Matt Boy52: 7/21/2016 4:48:18 AMAt the very least make two more Exotic primaries that do the other element types. Like a Solar hand cannon or scout rifle and a Void pulse rifle. It's not game breaking because they take up an Exotic slot, and Zhalo already exists, so come on Bungie.

There will always be weapons that everyone uses. Get rid of Fatebringer and VoC and we all switched to Hung Jury (with a god roll that they gave us). Even if they get rid of hung jury, everyone would find another top tier weapon to use like nirwins mercy or something. Getting rid of elemental primaries did nothing helpful for the game or community

You know what I find funny? They remove elemental primaries to encourage "diversity", yet they add something like Zhalo. Whenever something's arc burn, zhalo is everyone's goto. Sure you could use something else, but things die a lot quicker with zhalo, because [i][b]arc burn[/b][/i]~. Seriously, either take out all elemental primaries or put them in. It doesn't make sense to remove elemental primaries for the sake of "diversity" but add a gun that does the exact opposite. [spoiler]I don't have anything against Zhalo. That idea where you can add your own element to legendary primaries via some item sounds nice.[/spoiler]

These do need to make a return in some form, they were what people chased after. The most popular suggestion is to make an item that gives the weapon you want the burn you want

2 RepliesIf they wanted to stop people from always using the same primary for burn. Give more elemental primary choices. Make legendary primaries take an elemental upgrade similar to the color one. Then make it a very rare drop and have xur sell a random one for 50 coins.

Pve I use old vendor hung jury always, unless it's arc burn. No reason not too, it's like it was meant for strikes.

I dont understand why they care. As long as we are having fun and using the guns that we like thats all that matters.

I had an idea on here in one of these type of threads that seemed to get a few people interested and that was bringing back the elemental burns for primaries but only for the exotics not the legendaries. Im sure some would see that as being a pain for using an exotic slot on primary in pve but that does tend to be where i and quite a few others use their exotic weapon in that game mode

Just like someone said in a post a long time ago with ideas about how to bring back Elemental primaries and thats is to make a item called unstable element it can be used to turn any weapon into a random element and it be done only once with a gun if you want the same gun with a different element you have to get the gun again and put another unstable element on the second one and hope to get the one your wanting. I like that idea
