No Good Guns

Players that play Destiny have their favorite guns. They find a gun that has a perfect balance between PvE and PvP. Then Destiny wants to screw that up. Nerf the guns that everyone likes and Buff the guns that everyone hates. Back in the days with Crota and Skolas, the gun was Hawkmoon. Then Oryx came. They nerfed Hawkmoon and other weapons that people liked, but they did buff other weapons. So the new great gun became the Mida Multi Tool. And so everyone was happy again. There was a balance between weapons. And then Destiny decided people were have too much of a good time. So they nerfed the Mida and other weapons I was okay with. Now I'm left with nothing. I used to wreck in the crucible. Now... I don't even know what to use. I guess now it's the "great" Last Word. Anyways... that's my opinion. What's yours? Comment and let me know.

  • Imo if they nerf something (a subclass or weapon) and you can't adapt to the changed, imo you relied on a crutch. Good players just want to use consistient weapons. It's why you see some people still using the quest Conspiracy Theory, quest 1000 Yard Stare and even the vendor Hawksaw. Just okay with the cards that have been dealt to you and go kick some ass.

  • The only thing they changed about the MIDA was the innate High Caliber Rounds. Which wasn't even originally part of the gun. MIDA is still one of, if not, the best scouts in the game.

    • Hawkmoon is still damn fine. Its not the OP cannon it was before, but still... Grasp of Malok with a good roll is deadly in the right hands. Colovance's Duty(or the Last Extremity) is great for Scout. 70+ damage headshots? Mmhmm. A Red Spectre, or comparable high RoF ARs with stability boosts can do amazing things. Just because there isn't the "OP" weapons as before doesn't mean there isn't still good options. Adapt and evolve, my friend.
