Hmm, interesting. What's even more interesting is that you actually give two shits about the topics that other people post. If the title indicates to you a topic of religion or politics, simply scroll past it. You have that power. You are not required to read, comment, or click on anything you don't want to.
And also, Bungie doesn't care what topics are brought up. If so, they'd be banning people left and right. Move on, man.

Political and religious discussions stir up more unwanted trolling and flaming on the forums and are a breeding grounds for immature people. They were banned for a reason on the old forums.

Have you read the incessant and toxic material posted on these forums that actually DO keep the nature of Destiny at heart? They are way worse (in many cases) than anything brought up about religion or politics, my friend. Some of these gamers are the most hardcore, unfriendly, name calling, humanity hating trolls on the Internet. They act that way because everyone, yes EVERYONE, is a big shot behind their computer screen and keyboard. I would venture a guess that the majority of people on here who spit the nonsense they do would have no gall whatsoever if it ever came to a serious and legit argument where they had to be face to face with their opposition.

No, I'm not saying that at all. What I said was that since the forums already have an abundance of hatred and immaturity, posts about religion and politics aren't really going to make that much of a difference. However, I would also venture a guess that a good number of people frequent the forums for just that; toxicity and hatefulness. Hell, it's practically more entertaining than the dried up, boring as hell, content lacking game we call Destiny.
