up the damage, slow the fire rate, and up the range
all you would need then is a scope with two zooms, one short to mid range and one long range, and then you got a true exotic First Curse
the special scope coupled with its damage and range would truly make it one of a kind

Putting a scope on any Destiny Hand Cannon pretty much gives you a shit range scout rifle.
