having trouble acquiring stolen and antiquated runes. advice please.
so ive been fighting with the RNG for the last few days. the game refuses to drop stolen runes for me. so now i can buy them from eris but this of course requires grinding.
What are the best ways to acquire stolen and antiquated runes? Crota bane bounties/rank packages?

Normal mode kings fall (normal and hard give the same chest rewards (only 1 time drop) runes are found in the chests) Go to the chest that has taken presence or whatever it is (the chest that's in black fog and you die) use a sword to block damage and open it (you can do this once a week) go to the maggot room and get the scent, and platform jump across the abyss to open that chest (once a week) get wormsinger runes and do that to get a key to a chest. Find someone with a charged agonarch rune and get yourself a fresh rune and have the person put his rune in, and only YOU kill all the taken majors, this will fill your rune, and if the person doesn't redeem it at the end you can keep farming this chest by going to orbit after YOU redeem it, go back into patrol and you get another fresh one and do it all over again. Use recipical runes and try to farm for stolen. Old quests if you haven't done them yet, some eris quests will give you stolen runes, I dont remember which ones but there's a couple that do. That's about it.

I get a ton of antiquated from running the raid. Or rather when I did run the raid.

Edited by cmburch: 7/14/2016 6:34:35 PMWhere are these runes used? Court of Oryx of course is the best place to acquire and power up runes. Walk. Do not run to the Court of Oryx. If you see people there join. If on XBox1 invite me. Taken champions on patrol (Earth, Venus, Mars) must drop reciprocal runes since I have over 150 on each character. I have less than 10 stolen and 1-3 antiquated on each character. I have gotten runes from ranking up Crotas Bane. Eris Morn.

4 RepliesTaken champions on patrol. Worm singer runes on dreadnaught Agonarch runes, skyburner passes. Burning through reciprocal runes.
