Couldn't get a Grasp of Malok? Psi Alba IV is your answer
So we all know there are a lot of reskinned weapons in Destiny, and only a couple of different archetypes within weapon classes. Grasp of Malok is currently the only Legendary weapon to my knowlegde withing it's archetype. I know some of us, including myself weren't able to farm for one a couple weeks ago, so this post if foe you guys. I got a blue weapon the other day that I was so quickly about to dismantle, until I noticed that it has the same fire rate and impact as the Grasp. I decided to try it out in PvP and wow was it amazing. Mine rolled with braced frame so i lost one burst down to 24 rounds but that's still more than enough to kill a guardian, two even at least. Also had life support which really does come in clutch. It is called PSI ALBA IV. Look out for it and maybe take it for a spin before you dismantle it. I warn you though, be prepared to wreck as much face, if not more, as you would with the real thing. The sight choices are cleaner, no need to farm, and does the job just as fast. You're welcome.

Aegis of The Reef is a match for the archetype as well. I'd have kept mine, but the roll was awful, so I fed it to Nirwin's Mercy

Some blue weapons are better than legendarys , I have a blue high impact shotgun with rangefinder and send it,

Also... There is only one other Scout that is the same archetype as MIDA that can drop in Y2. It's called Lampad SR4 (it's a blue). Same fire rate and impact just less AA and MUCH smaller mag.

2 RepliesThe y1 ib pulse, skorris revenge is also the same archetype. I know it's unobtainable rn, but the old ib guns might return in RoI.

1 ReplySince its a blue and wont go higher than 310 itll only be useful for normal crucible. In that case youre better off using the y1 raid pulses.

I got a y1 aegis of kell pulse rifle. This is the baddest looking pulse rifle ever. It's the same archetype. It's on my Titan, check it out.

2 RepliesI always check those out when I see them. I have a good Grasp, but that gun is still fun to play around with. It needs a stability, though. The ones I have tried had some nasty recoil. Still, they fire just like Grasp.
