OK these are my ideas for a 4th subclass. Instead of a new element make it a nonelemental.
Titan:
[spoiler]Class: titan
Name: Sieger
Element type: kinetic (nonelemental)
Grenades:
Push grenade- grenade explosion that also does a 360 knock back while damaging.
Concussion grenade- An explosive grenade that disorients the enemies it damages.
Flux grenade- An explosive grenade which deals additional damage when attached to enemies.
Jump: Lift
Increased height- lift jumps further
Dash- you dash forward (like blink but slightly slower and you don't disappear.)
Increased control- Upgrades Lift for better directional control while in the air.
Super: Indefinite light
Description: The titan uses all their light to augment the body(3rd person veiw, character glows white.) The user increases forward sprint speed exponentially(visually leaving a trail behind them.) All attacks are done in a martial combo.
Efficient light- greatly reduces super consumption while running.
Shatter fist- (R2) Each hit will produce a AoE field of damage for addition cost of super energy.
NS2.0- kills give back some super energy and your moment is restored after a kill with an additional boost of speed.
Melee: charge
Description: you dash forward ramming your opponent.
Forward force- you knock your opponent back.
One-two- charge does 1/3 less damage but can be used twice in rapid succession(using only one hit will put your timer at half charged on the cooldown.)
Never stop- kills with charge reset its cooldown and keeps you running forward if you were running before the activation of charge.
Middle perk tree:
Indefinitely indefinite- While your super bar is full you gain +2 recovery, melee charge you gain +1 armour and both you gain +2 agility.
Seiging- kills with melee reduces grenade cooldown, kills with grenades or while target affected by a grenade effect reduces melee cooldown.
Catapult- super and melee have increased lunge distance if activated while in the air.
Final perk tree:
Jetpack- lift travels farther and fast and allows you to ready your weapon much quicker after you exit lift.
Shoulder or knee- while sprinting your charge ability is upgraded to shoulder charge(still consumes melee charge on hit and activates charge perk.)
{alt version: upgrades charge to shoulder charge and no melee energy is consumed unless contacted is made with an enemy;initial charge time is also added}
Iron skin- while your super is active you gain a over shield that recharges on kills.

Hunter:
[spoiler]Class: Hunter
Name: RiftDrifter
Element type: kinetic (nonelemental)
Grenades:
Shrapnel vortex genade- creates and area of affect that damages enemy's with a typhoon of shrapnel inside (looks like a clearer vortex grenade.)
Flash toss grenade- Grenade that is tossed is teleported forward till it impacts a object/target.
Concussion grenade- An explosive grenade that disorients the enemies it damages.
Jump: double jump
Increased height- increases the height of double jump.
Blink- A short distance teleport that replaces Double Jump.
Skywalker- of you hold down (x) after the second jump at the pinnacle of your jump you will land in the air, and for a short distance you will run in the direction you choose( you can aim and shoot like this too as long as your moving forward, but the distance is shortened.)
Super: way of the drifter
Description- you stand in a draw stance and a powering up aura appears around you(last about the length of a super animation, also the short sword is extended standard length.) Then you teleport forward through a rift for x feet/you hit a enemy/object with a devastating blast.
Crushing rift- your slash leaves a rift open slowing and damaging all who are stuck in it.
Extreme jumper- triples the distance you can teleport and allies can also go through the rift you left behind, or from your exit.
The Master- after activation (R1) allows you to jump up to 4 times without activating the slash, were (R2) activates the slash on jump or your 4 jump.
Melee: Draw slash
Description- you draw your short sword out of your sheathe and do a forward draw slash.
Second impact- after a short delay the target will take additional damage and flinch.
Get ready- kills with draw slash reduce the cool down for your super and draw slash.
Blade beacon- when you slash you stick you blade in the opponent or object and for the next 10 seconds, if you melee again you will be teleported to your blade, and if it is a enemy you will do a melee strike.
Middle perk tree:
Master slasher- reduced cooldown of drawslash
Grenade? No- replaces your grenade with a ranged air slash attack with your sword.
Updated- you can move full speed while ads with Skywalker activated and increased accuracy from hip fire.
Final perk tree:
Way of the blade- reduced cool down of way of the drifter
Masters apprentice- gain an additional melee charge
The spare plan- gain an additional grenade charge.

Warlock: V.1
[spoiler].Class: Warlock
Name: GravityCrusher
Element type: kinetic (nonelemental)
Grenades:
Black hole- creates a vortex that pulls targets towards the center.
Shrapnel vortex genade- creates and area of affect that damages enemy's with a typhoon of shrapnel inside (looks like a clearer vortex grenade.)
Push grenade- grenade explosion that also does a 360 knock back while damaging.
Jump:glide
Focused control- Upgrades Glide for better directional control while in mid-air.
Focused burst- Upgrades Glide to provide an initial burst of speed.
Hop- activating glide gives you a second heightened jump.
Super: Anomaly
Description- creates a large AoE sphere around the user that pulls targets in towards the center dealing damage. Massive damage if the target hits the center.
White hole- any shoots that are fired into the anomaly are duplicated and shoot back out(%50 DMG in PvP)
No escape- the anomaly is much larger and has a much stronger pull.
Lockdown- upon activation you can toss the anomaly instead of activating in on the user. (User puts both hands forward and charges the super then launches it in a straight path, adds a slight extra time to activation)
Melee: shunt
Description- Shoves the opponent in front of them with great force.
Disrupt- suppresses enemy for a short time.
No trespassing- your shunt activates all around you.
Get out- shunt pushes opponent even further.
Middle perk tree:
Force- blast does bonus damage and pushed the opponent even harder.
Illogical- you and your allies gain a agility biff for passing through your anomaly.
Gravity sheild- casting anomaly grants an over shield.
Final perk tree:
Space magic- kills with shunt reload your weapon.
Seekers- grenades gain homing.
Master blaster- kills with anomaly and shunt reset the cooldown of shunt.

Lore: These are the few guardians that went out into the darkness past the reef. They had to learn how to harness there light in a pure form. Condense the light to be able to sustain there power in the void of the dark.

4 RepliesEdited by Dominator of Oats: 10/5/2016 5:09:33 PMI think a kinetic subclass would be very cool, however, the warlock class, void is essentially meant to be the gravity and subatomic force class. I see a bit of that theme in your kinetic subclass. I think what would be cool for subclass is a focus on physical elements, but also motion. For instance, since you have a special as creating a swirling vortex as a special, maybe the black hole grenade can be instead like a sonic boom. Those are kinetic things (wind or physical) that the warlock class can focus around. Essentially "the force" abilities. I think the hunter and Titan classes are good starts though. Warlock I would redo.

I agree these do sound cool. Just add something a melee for Hunter that one shots people. It's not fair to have an over powered Titan and Warlock and not give the Hunter any love. Or buff

1 ReplyHmm... This is actually the first decent subclass ideas I've heard. People be tryna make elements like Frost Light, or giving into Darkness. And while they were good ideas, and had a lot of excellent effort and thought out into them, I just couldn't see it happening. But this. This is original, because it is based off of something that is actually in destiny. Kinetic guns and kinetic light. I don't mind this at all. It also kind of fits the idea of light: Solar radiation produces light Electricity produced light Light comes from the stars in the endless void around us Kinetic energy can create heat, which in turn generates light. You've earned a bump. I made a post explaining why I think we won't have a fourth subclass, but I could always be proven wrong lol. I wouldn't mind playing this.

2 RepliesWow you spent a lot of time on this and obviously put in a lot of thought! I really like the supers on all characters and I recon that you could develop these even more. It's good that you also brought some of the current characteristics of the classes forward; the different jumps and also the hunters short sword which can extend... Yeah I'd like to see it! I enjoyed reading your ideas and I think you could put your imagination to good use 😃
