Least skill: Shotguns
Slightly more skill: Snipers
Slightly more skill: Sidearms
Most skill and hardest to use: Fusion rifles
Can we change the shotgun and sniper meta?

Edited by Sunbroken: 7/12/2016 6:37:32 AMSidearms are a special weapon last word. How do they take skill?
-
tbh side arms don't take alot of skill to use. (this is coming from a side arm person)

Edited by AoA HighFive: 7/12/2016 5:32:21 AMSo apparently I must be badass then considering I use fusion rifles all the time in pvp and to me fusion rifles are easy to use.
-
I'm in the sidearm range, nice.

1 ReplySidearms take the least amount of skill. I see so many noobs spamming Vestian dynasty it's not even funny.
-
Try running shotgun in trials and get back to me. Fusions take the most skill and side arms are just underpowered

What ever a warlock can shoot is actually cheap, and we go from there. I main defender XD

Yeah? How bout no..

2 RepliesLet's be honest, none of the weapons in destiny require any skill to use.

Edited by NegativeCycle: 7/11/2016 10:44:07 PMYou obviously have no idea how much skill and situational awareness it takes to close the distance to get in shotgun range. What you and countless other crybabies don't understand is that the act of firing the shotgun is easy, it's the ability and skill needed to close in on your targets that takes skill. If I can get in your face with a shotgun I should be rewarded with an easy kill. It was YOUR fault for letting me get that close in the first place. Instead of pissing your pants try paying attention to what's around you next time......Oh that's right you were hard scoping and camping the whole match....

Fusion rifle is easier to be consistent with than sidearm.. Ammo issues per life and all.
-
It takes skill to skill the skills of skill skill skill. Am I the only one here who finds all this skill chat annoying and tired? Maybe I am.
-
3 RepliesIt takes more skill to be consistently successful with a shotgun than a sniper rifle. One weapon demands that you get extremely close to your enemies. The other can be camped with in a corner of the map.
-
1 ReplyI disagree Least skill = sniper rifles, because they have the fewest drawbacks to using. Any other special, if you miss or -blam!- up chances are you'll be dead. Snipers, you can miss once, twice, three times, even four times and still get the kill with your primary. There's also the body shot/primary finish tactic which takes even less skill. Shotguns, fusions, and sidearms are all next imo - easy or hard depending on play style.

21 RepliesDude just said Fusion Rifles take skill. I'm out. Because constantly mashing fire to preemptively charge and one shot across the solar system takes so much skill. Anyone who even thinks otherwise should make and drink a bleach and a ammonia cocktail.
They need to nerf them again, and then fücking again, and then goddamn again until they fire backwards, and kill the weidler and delete this character.
5 RepliesEasiest: shotguns Next: snipers Then: fusions Finally: sidearms I only list sidearms last because I haven't really had any interest in using them. I would likely move them if I did.

Fusions are very build dependent. Seen plenty that charge quickly and can kill from very far. Side arms are harder to use. Because shotguns kill quicker in close and quick charge fusions will charge and kill in about the same time. But side arms seem to be more of a backup primary than a true special. I think sidearms could use a bit lower recoil. Or at least visual recoil. But that might just be because the one I use has a non functional suppressor on it.

Edited by TrulyDontCare: 7/11/2016 8:12:12 PMI think sidearms and fusions are about equal. It's tough to say, since they're so different, though. You need to be a little more finicky when picking a fusion and they require a little more finesse... but it's still hard to say. Edit: I actually think the specials are pretty balanced. That's just my opinion about what's the toughest to use.

Shotguns are always on the bottom. The rest are up for debate.
