Wearing SOME taken armor is awful
There is no excuse good enough. I am tired of seeing this sin. It should be illegal and punishable by banishment. What is this unspeakable act?
Rule 3: Wearing only one peice of taken gear is an act of terror and is the ultimate sin.
Edit: I love the full sets, they look cool. Just not without the full set.

Yeah I agree. Wearing no taken armor is alright, a full set looks cool, but wearing only part of it? It's a sin to fashion.

1 ReplyYeah I see guardians half taken all the time and have no problem. I realize that they are most likely just leveling up the taken gear that they have so far without using their motes. It was strange to see at first but I've now gotten used to it and think it's cool that Bungie gives us the freedom to mismatch gear whichever way we like.

agree. my buddy does this and it kills me! and he has the full set! he is so obsessed with getting more discipline from this piece and strength from that one...really? he has a hive set of armor and a vex set, etc. drives me nuts when we do CoE and we have to spend like two minutes in between rounds so he can change from Vex to Hive!!

I wear the whole outfit minus the chest on my titan for twilight garrison, don't think twilight garrison matches with much anyways

Yeah, Taken armor looks like poo when used with anything besides taken armor. There is no way to work it in and not have it look awful All or none.

Actually the full hunter raid set with the Dead Orbit Bittersteel shader looks good with just the Taken helmet

Well, minus the helmet, the Titan's doesn't look too bad. Still, they just look rather awful. Why'd they have to use PoE armor as the base for them? There are better looking armor sets they could have used.

my favorite part of seeing people with partial taken sets... the stats and perks are ALWAYS out of wack. sidearm reloaders? really?

As a Titan, I refuse to wear their Taken gear since it's the fugly Prison of Elders armor. I simply just can't look at it.......

The Hunter Desolate helm looks good with the Cloak of seven bones. I finally got a full set for my Hunter. Wore it for a bit and took it off except for the helm.
