Nope...
SBMM is there to level the playing field for ALL players. If lag is an issue, ban the laggers or, even better, pony up and git gud internet connectivity.
If every match I enter is full of sweaty tryhards, it's not going to be fun. Not only will I eventually stop playng, I'd likely go to every ratings site I could find, post a terrible rating and warn as many gamers as I could not to buy a game that isn't fun to play.
I don't think Bungie is going to alienate the majority of its players because a few sweaties whine in the forum.

All competitive environments worth participating in divide players by their skill level. Bungie's interest is to serve the [i]actual[/i] majority of players, not [u]you[/u]. Some level of skill consideration in their matchmaking process has existed since 2004 when they were part of the team that invented TrueSkill. But you're "new" here, so I get that it'd be possible that you were unaware of this, if only it hadn't been pointed out to you repeatedly over the last several months as you continue to repost the same self serving nonsense. It's not going away.

That's the point of SBMM. Seems like the bozos just want to pub stomp and show each other how big their KDs are. Not to judge but I doubt most of them don't play or like sports. Name one competitive activity that doesn't organize based on skill level.
