Exotic farming, the engrams I never need.
Lately, it feels as if all I'm getting is exotic armor and special and heavy engrams, it's been around a month or 2 since I got my last primary exotic. I'm working towards a supercell but this is getting to me, it's as if bungie doesn't want me to have it. Do I just keep grinding and wait for that RNG or is there a specific place to get primaries? Thanks, from your aggravated guardian.

I created a Hunter and opened 6 chest engrams, 2 voidfang, 1 armentarium, 1 heart of praxic fire, 1 purifier robes, 1 lucky raspberry. I already had all the lock chests. I love rng

Always something that I'm looking forward to getting then a week or two later Xur comes around and laughs in my face saying "oh! Look what I have finally. You just got one up 2 weeks ago? HAHAHAHAH!" I used to get a whole bunch of arm exotics on my titan... I never get them on my warlock. I've burned through what will be about 300 (over the course of the past weeks) 3 of coins and the only arm exotic engram I got for my warlock turned into -blam!-ing No Back Up Plans. So the one engram I got....the single one. Turned into something I can't even equip on the character I was doing this all on. Bungie sure does know how to be a dick. My suggestion would be, since the effectiveness of 3 of coins has dimished, to implement smart loot decryption. Give the people what they're missing because -blam!-ing bungie is going to make most of this shit irrelevant pretty damn soon anyway.

For me it's gauntlets that never drop. I haven't had gauntlets drop in a few months now.

Need gauntlets but get boots heavies and primaries (not complaining about that) but my gauntlets are 318 and I can't get any around 330 to drop

Edited by kroppin: 7/8/2016 3:54:27 PMHeavy engrams are all that I'm getting. I just started exotic farming a while ago, and I already have 5 exotic heavies sitting in my bank. I just really want Hereafter and Zhalo, only two RNG exotic weapons (in Y2) I haven't gotten yet.

I get tons of gauntlets (I dismantle 335 gauntlets now) and to lesser extents, special and chest. I get the least helmets and heavy. All else in the middle in terms of frequency.
