What is the truth about Fate of All Fools?
Some say it is unobtainable and the only one in existence was given by Bungie to someone who was dying but I have to wonder why on earth it would have Fate in the name if that was the case. Seems a bit insensitive.
Others say it is from a bounty gained through the crucible but how rare is it?
There is a grimoire for it which maybe should be removed if no-one else can get it otherwise its just annoying for anyone who wants to catch 'em all.

Both sides are true. It was given to someone who had I believe brain surgery or something like that and it was originally gonna be obtained in trials but the bounty/bounties never came out for the gun.

It's basically Jade Rabbit. The main perk on the gun is called Fate of all Fools

I came across someone with it. Not a lie. This was way back like first couple months of Y1. I know it was given to a sick person, but as for everyone else getting it... Not happening.

The Jade Wabbit is it's spiritual successor in Year 2 anyway.

Well They turned it into the jade rabbit But if the actual -blam!-ing gun isn't in the game them they should remove the grimore card

All they need to do is unlock the grimoire for all of us and problem solved.

They guy had brain surgery(pretty sher it was cancer) his wife posted on redit, bungi read the post about how the doc. told him to play to get back some of his fine motor skills. Then bungi gave the guy the fate of all fools and removed it from the loot table. I honestly think they should remove it from the grimoire.

One dude has it, he never bothered with taken king though so it'll probably never see the light again. Grimoire doesn't really say much either.

The perk on the jade rabbit is called fate of all fools. It's never going to be a seperate gun.

It was given to someone who was ill and only one was ever given out. The jade rabbit was placed in the game to replace it and has the exact same stats as the fate of all fools.
