All these threads, regardless of what side they are on, are brutal and need to stop. [u][b]Concerning the PvE Triumphs:[/b][/u] Destiny is, and probably always will be marketed as a PvE first game. If you are exclusively a PvP player, you are foolish to still be playing Destiny when there are so many other games out with a better, more established competitive scene. Moreover, story, strikes, raids, etc are vastly more time consuming for everyone in the development process so it should come as no shock that almost all the PvE elements make an appearance in the MoT. If you are still choosing to play Destiny solely for the PvP, don't whine because Bungie wants you to actually play their game, the aspects that they put time, effort and love into, rather than run around with the same 5-6 weapons EVERYONE uses to kill each other with. [u][b]Concerning the PvP Triumph:[/b][/u] Its one, solitary triumph. I have no pity for anyone whining about this. Bungie made it easier to complete than it originally was. I did it before it changed, when it was long and gruelling, when you needed WINS instead of MATCH COMPLETIONS, when you had to do each step individually rather than doing 2 or 3 steps at the same time, when the "Gain points..." steps resulted in losing points for losses. Don't complain about this. If you play any PvP at all, with some simple guided play, you can finish this relatively quick. Don't complain about having to play certain game types with certain weapons and such. Bungie was pretty easy going with the PvP component of MoT. They could have made Flawless Trials a Triumph. A lot of us, myself included would miss out then. Edit: This is my first ever trending thread! Huzzah! Edit 2: A lot of people calling me out on saying people are foolish for still playing Destiny solely for PvP. I think my point got lost in my irritation with seeing all the posts complaining about MoT. Destiny is for sure a unique game, but it isn't set up to be some pinnacle of e-sports, so PvP isn't the be all, end all of the game. If you want to only play PvP, go right ahead, I'm certainly not stopping you. Just please don't complain that you can't get things like MoT for playing only half the game.
