Did Rasputin shoot the traveller or did we?

It is commonly believed that Rasputin shot the traveller to make him stay. Grimoire Card Old Russia is about a human launch that was kept quiet because of probable negative public opinion involving a massive weapon. They only say they knew who gave the order. That makes me wonder..... Rasputin would not have relied on a human craft to deliver the blow, he would have targeted and fired himself. Furthermore Rasputin was working on his failsafe midnight extingent, which he cancelled. Maybe he didn't have to fire. Maybe we did. What if the vanguard/speaker gave the order. Edit- or the city leaders or whoever was in charge of humanity at the time. Does anyone know of a grimoire card that clearly says Rasputin fired? Maybe I'm missing something.

  • The Traveler decided to stay and fight. Whatever the Traveler did caused the Darkness to back off for a while, but nearly killed the Traveler. The damaged section was most likely turned toward Earth after the attack to protect the vulnerable area.

  • Rasputian had a protocol to shoot the traveler if it tried to leave he just didn't run it. We also know the traveler stayed because in a grim gram card it has the inner monolog of the traveler and she says "this is where you will stay and fight" showing she didn't want to leave. I can pull up exact cards if you wish or you can just take my word for it :)
