Accused of being a hacker in Overwatch lmao
So i was playing overwatch today in ranked and i was doing pretty good the whole match with tracer and half way through the game i got a message saying "get out"
I just ignored it and kept playing and the same person who messaged me got killed (by me) he sent another msg saying "thanks for the proof enjoy your ban" so i asked him what he was talking about and he claimed i had a lag switch and broke 'CoC' rules when i never lag in any games (im using a ethernet cable)
and i dont know how i could've broke any rules, so i just responded with the blizzard quote "'some players are just really really good'-Blizzard"
And he seemed to be angered by that and said "im blocking you, you have no skill kys plz"
So i just was wondering what you guys thought about the whole situation,
What was my score?

1 ReplyI had a kid message me that he had reported me for "lag switching" a couple of Iron Banners ago. I messaged him back with something like this: "Thank you. It's been a long time since I was accused of being a "cheater." Unfortunately for you, I'm 40 years old and don't have the desire or the knowledge to be able to cheat at a video game." A couple of minutes later I sent him another message that said: "Yes, I really am 40 and you just got your ass kicked so badly by an old man that it made you cry like my 3 year old son when he doesn't get his way. Here's a free life lesson for you kid: not every one that beats you has to cheat to do it, because you're kind of bad. Have a nice day."

That happened to me in Titanfall a few days ago. I received a message from this kid accusing me of "hacking" because I was destroying them. I got 30 player kills, 8 Titan kills and died 5 times. He raged so hard over it and I simply responded with "not everyone who beats you is a cheater I'm just better than you"

I randomly matchmaked, last night in ranked. Only lost 1 game. However 1 game should have hit over tine or something. We had steam rolled this one team, but sides were flipped they were doing just relatively decent. We were having difficulty attacking the last point when suddenly 2 of their team get disconnected, then another 2. They weren't a full team of 6, and there's no way they raged quit cuz it was viable for them to win that round. We were low on tine and just so happened when we pushed they get 4 disconnects. Maybe just bad luck on their end but I think one of teamates was a hacker. No way for me to tell which one... that win felt cheap... if it was a lag switcher or whatever, hope they get banned

Instead, she was supported by Blizzard, cleared as innocent, and the team who accused her was in so much shame that they disbanded. And 2 pro gamers quit their gaming careers. So good that they lost everything, and were humiliated. Damn.

I bet you used Recall and he didnt see the animation, so he thought you were hardcore rubber-banding and could still damage him. I havent been accused of anything yet, but Id say its very suspicious when a player who was rank 61 dropped to 53 and played well against them. [spoiler]All DCs I had were outside of mine, and possibley Blizzards control so ye.[/spoiler]

38-4 is hardly out of the ordinary for a decent player. Sounds like the guy was just overly upset. Probably had a garbage team.

The kid sucked, and you never know on his screen maybe you were lagging, but it's pretty obvious when somebody is lag switching. This kid just sounds like a -blam!-in baby. But posting your score at the end, which is completely irrelevant to the situation, also kinda of just makes this sound like a brag post.

If he was playing a game like loldestiny which actively encourages lag switching his messages might have been fair enough. But Overwatch actually has preventative measures in place to keep it clean, and players over a certain ping are instantly booted from the game IIRC. Salt happens fam, Gamers are some of the worst kinds of people

Report him to either Sony/Microsoft depending on what console you're on. They don't take those kill yourself messages lightly.

That's why I love uncharted 4's multiplayer.. I don't think anyone takes it seriously enough to get that pissed. The only mail I've ever gotten is telling me they hate my sniper rifle followed by a friend request.. It's nice.
