Just wanted to make sure I've got this right...
Throwing Knife, an ability that takes some actual skill to land a headshot in PVP can't come close to killing in one hit, gets a damage nerf. Tripmines, which already could be survived by high armor targets not only lose the ability to stick, but get a damage nerf as well. Throwing Knife is also, in case you forgot Bungie, on a cooldown. Striker titans running rampant shoulder charging in small corridors making it so you can't turn a corner unless you bring a shotgun...that's just fine. No cooldown needed. Why bother, right? Between that and fists of panic why bother putting in some actual thought? This might shock the crap out of you, but I don't WANT to use a shotgun in PVP just to counter something you clearly don't know what to do with. I don't know who makes your balancing decisions, but fire them. And fix it. The sheer number of striker titans let loose on the game during this most recent Iron Banner was disgusting.
Oh, and I might add that there is no point in your statement that tripmines are supposed to be a 'smart' grenade that you place to kill people if they're going to survive the stupid thing anyway. What is wrong with you?

32 RepliesShoulder charge and throwing knife serve entirely differently purposes, you just can't lump them in the same boat. You can use the prime and knife strategy without sprinting and more importantly on reaction to an opponent. If you're good with headshots then you can continue to do so and rack up kills. I've seen some Gunslingers(after patch) go on some sick kill streaks using that strategy on youtube, it was awesome! Shoulder charge you cannot use on reaction and it OHK because you have to sprint, make the distance, not die, then hit someone and hope his team mates don't kill you out of recovery. You simply can't prime then SC that's impossible unless there's some distance but by then you could've just killed them with any weapon at that point. However I'm not going to say SC is weak, far from it. By the way Bungie did implement a cool down on SC it's just not that long but get's consecutively longer as you use it, video on youtube. And FOH is easy to use because it's a counter, that why it has a small(relatively) AOE.
