Destiny is saying I am in trial mode

I can't access any of the missions or any planets or social areas besides the tower and the cosmodrome. Whenever I try and access anything else, it tells me I need to own Destiny: The Taken King. I have already bought it. If you look at my characters, you can see I have progressed much farther than the trial mode would let me. This all started when I signed in to a friends account on my Xbox who also has destiny. After that, his profile had to be signed in to my xbox for it to not say I was in trial mode. I removed his account from the Xbox and re-downloaded destiny and all the DLCs.

Hey FeveredChimp9302, The normal troubleshooting steps would to be clear your cache and then restore your licenses, but I can see you've already tried this and it didn't help. May I ask if you use a physical or digital copy of Destiny? If physical, can you please clean your disc, that could be the issue. When you visit the store of your console, does it say you own all expansions or is there anything you're unable to download? If you are able to download everything, have cleaned your disc, or do not own a physical version, you'll want to try doing this. First of all, if the Trial version is on your console, please remove it. 1. Delete all Destiny related content, all expansions included. 2. Clear your cache while there is no Destiny related content on your console. 3. Reinstall Destiny. If this doesn't work, you may need to contact Microsoft/Sony to make sure your licenses are being properly registered by your account.

    • Neither of the methods worked. I am still in trial mode.

    • Hi, Try clearing your systems cache, and restore your licenses. Clearing System Cache Restore Licenses

    • What the hell is it with bungie and their licensing stuff? Half the help section is either people not being able to access the game or the refer a friend quest being broken. It's time to start filing complaints with xbox and sony about how bungie's operating.
