Best 8th Generation Console Controller?
Edit: Wii U Pro controllers are included in the Wii U gamepad section.
Personally, I like the DS4 better because I love the grip and prefer the analog sticks to be horizontal. Since both consoles take subscriptions for multiplayer now, I only chose the PS4 for it's controller. So, what controller does everyone else prefer? Try to be unbiased.
Fun fact: Bungie helped design the Duelshock 4 to make it better for first-person-shooters and make it more comfortable then the DS3. I think they are responsible for the better analog sticks and L2/R2 triggers.

I prefer the Wii-U pro controller to the GamePad. It's just designed for hands to grasp. Overall though I'd still go for a GameCube controller with its octagonal thumbsticks

1 ReplyPS4 controller is a big improvement over its predecessors but X1 still feels a little better. Anything older in the Dual Shock line honestly feels like it was made for 7 year olds. The sticks are too close together, the controller itself is too small for someone with long fingers to comfertably use and my PS2 controllers short out half the time. Playing Ace Combat on PS2 is a good way to get claw hand. Good game tho.

I prefer Xbox Controllers. I feel like they got it just right. The DS4 feels like it's been stretched out to fit the touch pad in. And I don't like the position of the sticks.

If Playstation controllers sensitivity and xbox controllers model/feel come together, they'll be the deluxe controller.

It's really hard to choose between the Xbox & PS4 controllers, as I love both.. So.. To avoid further questioning I'll say yes.

I wish the ps4 dual shock 4 had a wrist strap band so that if you want to take a break you can just hold it on your wrist.

1 ReplyXbox controllers are still by far my favorite. However the PS4 controller is definitely a major step up from the origonal and PS3s. I just seriously hate how the thumbsticks are beside one another.

Xbox one controller is better in my opinion However, the PS4 controller feels so much better than the PS3 controller, I could not stand the PS3 controller.

6 RepliesThe ps4 controllers are near perfection for me. Fits better in my hands than the xbox controllers. Also prefer the sticks to be symmetrical.

The DS4 is the best controller since the Xbox 360 controller. I'm of the opinion that the Xbox One controller is horrid, I absolutely cannot stand to have the thing in my hands, it's totally uncomfortable.
