Any recommendations on which one I should buy? Both dlc packs look great, I love the witcher and fallout equally and want something to tide me over until Skyrim remastered comes out

Have season passes for both and love both games / franchises, but with that being said... Blood and Wine hands down is the best DLC I have purchased in years and by far the better choice between the two ;) If only other studios invested the time, effort and quality into their DLC's as Projekt Cd Red has = I wouldn't feel as disappointed or cheated on the price tags for content now a days (Bungie and Activision could learn a few things from this) You can truly tell that this final instalment to this brilliant franchise was designed by gamers for gamers and not corporate whores ;) Download without any second thoughts or worries as this DLC will not disappoint :)

Played both and will say blood and wine is the best DLC I've ever played. It is 10x better than most AAA games. Far harbor is great also but can't touch B&W
-
1 ReplyBlood and Wine. It's bigger than most full games, whereas Far Harbor is huge but empty. Not a ton to do and little replay value by comparison.
-
1 ReplyBlood and Wine. That dlc could've almost been a stand alone.

1 ReplyBlood and wine 10000000%

1 ReplyBlood and Wine. No debate to be had.

1 ReplyWitcher expansions feel like actual expansions that the team really took the time to make. I finished far harbor way too quick I thought there would be more but there wasn't

1 ReplyWitcher >>>>> FO4. It's not close.

2 RepliesBlood and Wine. Don't question it, just -blam!-ing buy it You like Gwent? There's a whole new Gwent deck to collect and use Extended witcher armor treasure hunts A fantastic new story with a fantastic ending You own your own -blam!-ing house and can customize it a -blam!- ton of side quests and more

4 RepliesEdited by What I Look Like: 7/4/2016 3:22:42 AMMm.. well if you are looking for more content -"..something to tide me over.." - I'd go with Witcher. I personally haven't even played the game at all but I know that you will have more to do for a longer period of time with it. I have Far Harbour and it was very amazing.. if you do all the endings I suppose you could have enough content to compete with B&W. Far Harbour felt very creepy, it had an older Fallout vibe to it. You never know what's gonna come screaming at you through the fog, and the tough baddies are more of a challenge than Deathclaws. There is an amazing new set of armor which currently has the highest base armor stats of all armor (above the best set of upgraded combat armor), a few new weapons and some great legendary weapon additions that do a good job killing shit. The story was very deep and at the end (that I reached) I was left questioning my character's life and accomplishments.

1 ReplyAs much as I enjoy Fallout 4 and Far Harbour was pretty decent, Blood and Wine was much better. It adds quite a lot of stuff and the story is pretty good. Plus you get a house with display racks to hang up your better looking swords and armour that you aren't using. That and the mutations alone would have sold me on it but getting back my silver sword from the first game made it all the sweeter.

1 ReplyBlood and wine. The witcher just gets better and better everytime I play it

AAAAAAAAA - old
Both DLC Packs were great. Besides the fact that Blood and Wine (and the entire Witcher 3 season pass) comes at a lower price, it will hold you for much longer and provide a much more fulfilling experience. Far Harbor was a huge improvement over the base game and I really enjoyed my time with it, but Blood and Wine just delivers more of that great Witcher 3 formula, along with a much more interesting story that provides a great conclusion to Geralt's journey. While Far Harbor was great and I'd recommend you do eventually purchase it, I'd definitely prioritize Blood and Wine, and the Witcher 3 season pass as a whole. It's a lot more bang for your buck, and the narrative told in Hearts of Stone is one of the best to be released in recent years. -
1 ReplyA Lamborghini Aventador or a fifth hand Yaris........
B&W > all
1 ReplyEven though I've never played The Witcher, and love Fallout 4, I'd say Blood and Wine. It's got more too it, it sounds like.

2 RepliesBlood and goddamn mother-blam!-ing Wine!

1 ReplyEveryone is going to say blood and wine here. If you are asking I'm guessing you didn't buy the season pass for fo4 at 30 bucks. I'd just buy the Witcher 3 season pass if you liked the base game then. It's cheaper. It won't last you until Skyrim remaster but neither will Far Harbor.
