Sending text messages drunk?
I've always wondered what to do when you wake up and notice you've sent some really -blam!-ing stupid text messages to people.
What do you tell them?

Just use these 3 simple words. 'I don't know.' What are you doing? "I don't know" What do you want to eat? "I don't know" Why'd you text/call me? "I don't know" Whose that under you? "I don't know" It's fool proof man.

I've been calling people lately, leave a venue and start calling everyone in my phone from 3am on. Had one chick call me back the next day saying she has enough trouble sleeping without me calling drunk singing at her. I deleted her number so I didn't annoy her anymore and a week later she does it to me lol I asked who it was and she said her name. I said sorry I deleted your number so I didn't piss you off again.... Now I'm the bad guy haha meh

So. There was these two classmates in math that were like new friends. I thought the girl was pretty nice and the guy id occasionally hear that he is gay from one of my friends (gossips alot) but he seemed chill and not that way at all. Well one night i thought i was talking to the girl and it was pretty late at night. I was trying to beat around the bush and say "oh a girl like you is too nice for me" then the replier was like "girl? are you sure you are messaging the right person"? Turns out i was talking to the guy 😐 i told him oh shit i thought you were the girl.... got really awkward after that and few days later the girl got mad at me and never talked again. (I guess he told her after few days) Now i never late txt ever again

IF I'm already drunk enough to drunk text I just apologize and move on with my day. I hardly drink but when I do, I usually forget my phone's existence so I don't really have to worry about drunk texts the morning after.

I have a pact with my friend that when her or I get really drunk we only text eachother. It has kept me out of a lot of shit.

Tell them it was just a prank. Then they tell you its not true so I lose my social life or whats left of it. I grab a bottle of bleach and down it. Clorox, cleanse yourself.

Ooo man, learned my lessons there. Social media and drinking = bad. I would always just post something to everyone saying something like, "Hey, sorry guys. To whoever I messaged last night and whatever I said - my bad. :( " Everyone usually totally understood and would just blow it off, maybe pick at me a bit just for fun, but all in all it was fine. We've all been there after all.

Those that "make the cut" have been warned that I may, from time to to time, send incoherent psychobabble whilst drinking. So... If I should happen to get the question "you've been drinking again?" (or some variation thereof), a simple "yes" is sufficient. Of course, having a Tasker profile which sets a 16 digit pin (activated by a widget) to unlock the screen helps.
