The general idea is that void damage is underexplored and solar is overused. Only including year 2 weapons that have elemental burn but not the TK swords (since there's one of each, they kind of balance each other out) or iron gjallarhorn, there are 10 solar (6 being heavy), 9 arc (1 being primary), and 2 void. That's 48%, 43%, and 9.5% repectively. That's seems pretty imbalanced and boring.
