The fact that I have to buy a new car every so many years, and you have to buy tires etc for it when you had tires on the last one. Sounds like a conspiracy with the tire company if you ask me.

Tires wear out. Engines die. My ttk disc works just fine.

If you bought a Sony tape deck and wanted to switch over to a Sony cd player, would you want the albums to be free that you already owned on cd that weren't broke? Not sure how far this goes? Or if you bought a card with a cd player, should they replace your old tapes to cd?

Not in the new console it doesn't. And I font wait till engine dies to get new car, you replace it when it gets old. Your console is an antique in the electronics world
