Ok so ive seen again and again.. Snipers are OP!! Need nerf now!! Stop defending your crutches!! Aim assist takes no skill on snipers!! Here i am going to disprove that. Now, my definition( and many others ) definitions of OP is... A weapon or class that has NO counters and takes very little skill to use, thereby resulting in easy kills. I play sniper all the time!! I for one, know that snipers do take a lot of skill to master, and have counters!! Let me list a few. Sliding into a chokepoint Hawksaw Doctrine of Passing Nirwin's Mercy Shotguns Shoulder Charge Supers Fusion Rifles And many more counters can be inferred! Snipers only have "easy" kills when the person is standing still!! So, snipers are DEFINITELY not OP. Aim Assist: Aim Assist ON SNIPERS does NOT, i repeat NOT have any bullet magnetism. Try it out!! Look at it, only when Lag takes place is any situation otherwise. Aim assist, therefore, does not take "Skill" out of the game. The reason it was added is because, well, try sniping you teammates, or anything else with no aim assist, pretty hard, right? Therefore, snipers are not OP. Before trying to disprove my statement, ask yourself, have you ever used a sniper? Are you A GOOD sniper? (Meaning 90% of your kills are headshots, and 90% of your shots are kills) If not, dont complain. This is also a purely competitive standpoint. Casuals may disagree, whatever. Who cares. Everyone has an opinion. When i disprove you, realize im not saying you have no opinion, im saying your FACTS that you THINK you have are wrong.
