Dear Bungie, Please stop nerfing things! The way you ''balance'' your game is by nerfing the hell out of something to the point where it is either irrelevant or just plain unusable. It becomes even more crazy when you realize on what you are basing your nerfs on unrelated data. Remember when you nerfed MIDA just based on the fact that it was the most used primary? (I know MIDA is broken, that's not the point here, bear with me). Next thing you know, you will nerf Grasp of Malok because there was a dramatic increase in its use. NO SHIT! You gave us a nightfall specifically set up for optimal farming... Basically, what Bungie is saying is the use of something is directly proportional to the need to nerf it. Bungie, this is why you have sandbox, use it! Stop using these statistics as an excuse to nerf things. The statistics you use show bias and more often than not are inadmissible as proof of OP-ness.(Maybe more people are using it because it's more fun or because everything else is bad or maybe it is genuinely OP. How can you tell?) You nerfed hunters based on .5 maximum difference in K/D... in 6v6. I wonder why you didn't use global PvP data. Maybe because it just so happens that showing the rest would show no trend(or a different one)...But that is just a crazy conspiracy theory. You say you want to bring balance but what you do is create "salt". OF course the "use data" will normalize when you nerf something, less people use it because you broke it. I will end this with a constructive comment. Instead of nerfing things, maybe you should change what they do. I know for a fact that no one likes when their favorite weapon or class becomes absolutely useless. Is it that hard to take an OP ability and change how it works to a more fun less OP level? For example, instead of cutting the balls off Fireborn Radiance, make it so that it knocks people back when you revive (and all the super is gone), it's a super, it needs to be super! That was just a suggestion, what I am saying is experiment, go crazy! Don't make us all bored by gradually nefing everything out of existence.
