Different Orbs of Light Explanation!! Sizes, Strength, and Sources!! (Must Know Information!!)

Hey guys, Skarrow9 here. Over my time playing Destiny I have noticed different types of Orbs of Light. Well, I decided to go ahead and see what would make each size orb spawn. I tested supers, artifact, and the Telesto. In addition, I tested out the Gift of Light Defender perk and the Sunburst Sunsinger perk. Results: Everything discussed is explained in much more depth in the video! Text Results: If you are not interested in watching the video I will lay out the results. It takes around 6 large orbs and 12 small orbs to fill your super. So if you charge your super >90% with orbs of light, then you will make small orbs. In addition, the Telesto and sunburst both create small orbs. On the other hand, if you charge your super <90% with orbs of light then you generate large orbs. Your artifact and the Defender's Gift of Light perk will also do this. I hope you guys find this useful! If you did I would appreciate a like rating on the video. I spent a lot of time gathering this data, so I hope you enjoyed! Have a nice day!

False Large Orbs are generated from Supers. Although, some suppers only generate small orbs. Golden Gun will create Large Orbs Arcblade will creat Large Orbs Fist of Havoc will create Large Orbs Hammer of Sol will create Large Orbs Nova Bomb will create Large Orbs Storm Caller will creat Large Orbs Support Class Supers are different. Radiance creates Large Orbs on kills when using Song of Flame or Radiant Skin. Radiance will create Small Orbs when using Fireborne. Radiance will generate a Small Orb for Self-Reviving. Using Sunburst will generate Small Orbs Ward of Dawn will Generate Large Orbs. When taking damage with Gift of the Void active, Ward of Dawn will generate additional Small Orbs in addition to the Large Orbs. Getting Melee Kills while under the effects of Force Barrier and using Gift of Light, the player will generate Large Orbs. When getting heavy ammo kills with Iron Harvest active, the player will generate Large Orbs. Shadowshot will generate Large Orbs depending on how many enemies are killed and anchored with the Shadoshot. Using Quiver reduces the maximum amount of Orbs generated to a max of 1 Large Orb per shot. Enemies killed while anchored and using Light of the Pack will generate a Small Orb at the place of the enemy death. Note: Nightstalker's Shadowshot cannot be doubled up to create more Orbs. If shot within a close time, the Anchors will devide the enemies and tether enemies based on Proximity. This causes a smaller amount of Orbs to be generated by each player. Enemies can only be tethered by one Shadowshot at a time which means each shot will hit less enemies and create less orbs. The same goes for Orbs generated by Light of the Pack. If the shots are delayed, one shot will Anchor the enemies and the next will not unless there is more enemies than the first shot can Anchor. All Orbs generated by Weapons and Artifacts will be Small Orbs. Also, the Super Energy gained from each Orb scales based on the players Intellect. Grenade and Melee Energy will scale with Discipline and Strength if the player has the right Armor Perks. The Energy gained from Orbs will progressively get smaller and smaller if obtained in rapid succession. Example: if you get a super from Large Orbs and use the super right away, it will take more Orbs to regain another super. It might take 6 for the first and 7-8 for the next.
