Spoilers, you've been warned. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Anyways... Anybody else that's seen ID2 notice how similar it is to Destiny, I mean... -You find out they're only attacking because they're after a different species (which just so happens to be an intelligent white sphere) - Said sphere is able to share knowledge vastly beyond what humanity knows, in terms of science, space travel, and weapons - the 'harvesters' have been hunting the sphere across the universe - Lead by a single, powerful queen, the majority of the harvesters are rendered i ineffective without their leader Basically, the aliens in this movie are the hive/taken (they're referred to as a "hive"), and the queen is Oryx. Just like the Taken began to fade and lose power after we killed Oryx, so too did the aliens lose their power once their queen was killed. And of course, our world was caught between them and the white sphere, a huge parallel with the Traveler. Just thought it was strange.
