shotgun, sniper, or fusion?
I am wondering which one is more used or liked, personally I have no preference but I use the shotgun more often

Snipers are easy to use and hard to truly master. Shotguns are fun too, and easier to master. But a skilled sniper or fusion user will take them out 8/10. At least after all the nerfs they suffered over the last year or so. Edit: p.s. Snipers are for sure the most used though.

Shotguns are the most fun imo. Snipers are most useful. But fusions are most useful with the right one and good skill. They are long range shotguns.

They also take the most patience to use correctly and you need to learn the characteristics of each individual gun as differing perks will give you wildly different recoil patterns, effective range, and charge rate. Shotguns and snipers are the meta weapons to use right now because they're more user friendly, still typically one shot unless you goof up, and are therefore the easiest to get kills with,

Snipers, I enjoy how they are viable in PvP and PvE, they are good with some skill and exceptionally powerful in trained hands. Also, boss damage.

Fusions, sidearms, shotguns and if and then a sniper.

My personal preference is a shotgun since I usually play like a tank in most games

Fusion or sidearm paired with a scout.

If I'm using the No Land Beyond, I pair it with a sidearm. In almost every other loadout, I use a fusion rifle.

I like fusions despite the fact I'll more often get ghost rounds in PvP...
